§ 9. INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE

    INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE ADOPTED

    A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Secretary of the City of Santa Fe, being marked and designated as the International Energy Conservation Code, 2015 Edition, including the Appendix Chapter, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Energy Conservation Code of the City of Santa Fe, in the State of Texas for regulating and governing energy efficient building envelopes and installation of energy efficient mechanical, lighting and power systems as herein provided; providing for issuance of permits and the collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Energy Conservation Code on file in the office of the City of Santa Fe are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection B. of this section.

    B.

    REVISIONS

    The following sections are hereby revised:

    Section 101.1, Insert as NAME OF JURISDICTION: "City of Santa Fe."

    C.

    CONFLICTS

    Where the provisions of other Sections of these Building Regulations shall conflict with the International Energy Conservation Code, the more restrictive shall prevail.

    D.

    FEES

    Fees shall be as determined by resolution of the Santa Fe City Council.

    E.

    PENALTIES

    Any person, firm, or corporation who fails to comply with, or violates, any part of this section shall be subject to the penalties pursuant to Section 1 GENERAL (G) PENALTY, herein.
