§ 4. NO-PARKING ZONES
A.
DESIGNATED AREAS
(1)
Portions of Warpath
There is hereby designated a no-parking zone on that portion along the east side of Warpath, formerly known as a portion of Avenue T, nine hundred seventy-four (974) feet from the centerline of SH 6 at its intersection with Warpath to a point three hundred fifty (350) feet south of 6th Street, a distance of six hundred seventy (670) feet. No vehicle may park within the limits herein defined at any time between the hours of 7:00-9:00 a.m. and 2:00-4:30 p.m. on school days only. The chief of police is hereby directed to install signs designating said no parking zone along the street in the locations as given herein.

Runge Park
There is hereby designated a no parking zone along the following streets in the Runge Park area: along 8th Street from Peck Street to Terry Street, north and south side; along Terry Street from 8th Street to Park Street, east and west side. The street superintendent is hereby directed to install signs designating said no-parking zones along the streets in the locations as given herein.

Portion of 22nd Street
There is hereby designated a no-parking zone along 22nd Street from Avenue M to Avenue L, south side. The chief of police is hereby directed to install signs designating said no-parking zones along the streets in the locations as given herein.

Portion of Sixth Street
(a)
There is hereby designated a no-parking zone along Sixth Street from FM 1764 to Warpath south side, and on the north side from FM 1764 East for a distance of 540 feet. The chief of police is hereby directed to install signs designating said no-parking zone along the street in the location as given herein.

There is hereby designated a no-parking zone along the south side of Sixth Street from Avenue M to Avenue L. The Street Superintendent is hereby directed to install signs designating said no-parking zone along the street in the location as given herein.

Portion of 24th Street
There is hereby designated a no-parking zone along the north and south side of 24 th Street from Avenue O to Avenue N and along the east and west side of Avenue O from 24 th Street south to the city limits. The street superintendent is hereby directed to install signs designating said no-parking zones along the streets in the locations as given herein.

There is hereby designated a no-parking zone along east side of Terry Street from Park Street south a distance of 130 feet and along the south side of Park Street from Terry Street east a distance of 360 feet. The Street Foreman is hereby directed to install signs designating said no-parking zones along the streets in the locations as given herein.

B.
IN AND ALONG STREETS, ROADS, OR HIGHWAYS
(1)
No person shall stop, park, or leave standing any vehicle whether attended or unattended, in any traffic lane of any street, road, or highway within the City of Santa Fe, Texas, when it is practical to stop, park, or leave such vehicle out of such traffic lane.
(2)
No person shall stop, park, or leave unattended any abandoned or inoperable vehicle upon any street, road, or highway right-of-way, whether it be the paved portion thereof, the shoulder thereof, or unimproved portion of said right-of-way in the City of Santa Fe, Texas.
(3)
This section shall not apply to any driver of any vehicle which is disabled in such manner and such extent that it is impossible to avoid stopping, parking, or temporarily leaving such disabled vehicle in such position.
(4)
No person shall stop, park, or leave standing any vehicle within no-parking zones when so signed. The chief of police of the City of Santa Fe is hereby authorized to designate no-parking zones within fifty feet (50') of any intersection when the traffic hazards at such intersection require in the public safety that such no-parking zones be so designated. In pursuance thereof, the chief of police before signing any no-parking zones shall first obtain the consent of the City Council and such no-parking zones shall be set out and designated on an addendum to this Section, giving the location and date of approval by the City Council.
C.
WHEN ANY POLICE OFFICER FINDS A VIOLATION
Whenever any police officer finds a vehicle standing upon any public right-of-way, whether on the main-traveled roadway, the shoulder thereof, or any other portion of the said right-of-way in violation of the provisions of this chapter, such officer is hereby authorized to remove such vehicle to the nearest garage or other place of safety, or to a garage or wrecking yard designated by the Chief of Police of the City of Santa Fe, Texas.
