§ 9. VEHICLES TRANSPORTING LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GASES, NATURAL GASOLINE OR FLAMMABLE, CORROSIVE, OR TOXIC CHEMICALS

  • A.

    Every semi-trailer, truck, or other vehicle transporting liquefied petroleum gases, natural gasoline or flammable, corrosive, or toxic chemicals in bulk form or the fumes thereof, whether common carrier or not, shall have their movements confined in the City of Santa Fe to the streets or highways hereinafter designated.

    B.

    Such semi-trailer, trucks, or other vehicles transporting such material and products set forth in subsection A hereof, shall be confined to movement within the City of Santa Fe to Farm to Market Road 1764, State Highway 6, and Farm to Market Road 646 North, and Farm to Market Road 646 South.

    C.

    Any semi-trailer, trucks, or other vehicles transporting the materials or products set forth in subsection A hereof, shall not be parked at night on any highway, road, street, or alley within the city, except in an emergency, and in no event shall any such semi-trailer, truck, or other vehicle be parked closer than fifty feet (50') to any building within the City of Santa Fe, Texas, whether parked on a public highway or road or not, except when making deliveries as provided in subsection D hereof, or when such buildings are used for servicing such semi-trailers, trucks, or other vehicles.

    D.

    The provisions of this section shall not apply to semi-trailers, trucks, or other vehicles carrying the materials or products set forth in subsection A hereof, which are then being used to carry such materials or products to outlets within the corporate limits of the City of Santa Fe, Texas, or for the purpose of conducting business.
