§ 8.03. Noise.

  • At no point at the boundary property line of any use shall the sound pressure exceed the limits outlined in the table below measured in decibels, at one hundred and twenty-five (125) cycles. Measurement of noise shall be made with a sound level meter that has a calibration certificate meeting the standards prescribed by the American National Standards Institute.

    86dB to 88dB 4 hours
    89bB to 91bB 2 hours
    92dB to 94dB 1 hour
    95dB to 97dB 30 minutes
    98dB to 100dB 15 minutes
    101dB to 106dB 4 minutes
    107dB to 109dB 1 minute
    Greater than 109dB Less than 1 minute

     

    No noise from a commercial operation, facility or use will be allowed between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. except as allowed by City Codes.
